History and what to see
A short, quiet stage among apple orchards, with the Sierra del Sueve on your left. Villaviciosa is the Asturian capital of cider and keeps the Romanesque church of Santa María de la Oliva. In 1517 the young Charles V landed unexpectedly at nearby Tazones and spent a few days here.
