History and what to see
You walk the whole of Laredo beach to El Puntal, where a boat crosses to Santoña; times change with the season, and without it you walk round the estuary via Colindres. Then the Santoña marshes, a natural park, and the beaches of Berria and Trengandín before heading up to Güemes.
