History and what to see
This is where it all began. In the 9th century King Alfonso II of Asturias left Oviedo to visit the newly found tomb of the apostle, and his road is today’s Primitivo. Before you set off, step into San Salvador Cathedral and its Holy Chamber. Then meadows and hamlets all the way to Grado.
