History and what to see
You enter the Terra Chá, a plain of meadows, ponds and copses dotted with ancient hillforts. The path is flat and gentle, with many small hamlets. In Vilalba stands the octagonal Andrade tower, from the 15th century, all that remains of the old castle.

Vilalba’s capon fair
On the weekend before Christmas Eve, usually around 21 December, Vilalba holds its capon fair. Town records already note it in 1835.
