Frequently asked questions
What else does the quote include?
A room of your own and the pilgrim credential. Breakfasts and dinners depending on the meal plan you choose.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No: you only pay if you confirm the trip.
Who organizes the trip?
A licensed travel agency specialised in the Camino de Santiago with its own on-route support. Xacobea plans the trip with you and follows up your request.
Can I go alone or in a group?
Yes. Single rooms for solo walkers and group rates from 6 people.
What if I need to change dates?
Each agency has its own terms; we send them with the quote. We recommend travel insurance with cancellation cover.
How many km and stages from Sarria, Tui or Ferrol?
From Sarria, 115 km in 5 stages (Camino Francés). From Tui, 118 km in 6 stages (Camino Portugués). From Ferrol, 112 km in 5 or 6 stages (Camino Inglés). All three qualify for the Compostela.
