A climb through Gonzar, Castromaior (a pre-Roman hillfort excavated a step from the path) and Hospital da Cruz to the Sierra de Ligonde. Ventas de Narón, scene of a battle against the Moors in 820, Ligonde, Eirexe and the Lameiros wayside cross, one of Galicia’s finest, to Palas de Rei, in the lands of Pambre castle and the Romanesque church of Vilar de Donas.
