History and what to see
You pass Tapia de Casariego, a seafaring town of open beaches, and reach the Eo estuary, the border between Asturias and Galicia. Since 1987 you cross it on foot over the Ponte dos Santos, along a narrow, fenced walkway above the water. In Ribadeo the Torre dos Moreno awaits, a 1915 house built by emigrants back from Cuba, with a large dome.
