You cross the coastal rasa, a raised plain of meadows between sea and mountains. You pass through Navia, and nearby lies the Castro de Coaña, an Iron Age settlement older than Rome’s arrival, with round slate dwellings. The stage ends in La Caridad, the main town of El Franco.
